Safety Guidelines
🐾 1. Meet & Greet First
Before your first walk or sit, schedule a quick meet-up. It builds trust, lets pets sniff things out, and ensures everyone's a good match. Think of it as a “pawshake agreement.”
🔐 2. Secure the Handoff
Always double-check leashes, collars, and handoffs. Pets should be securely leashed before doors open, and handovers should happen in a calm, contained space. No surprises, no escapes.
📋 3. Know Their Quirks
Every pet has a personality. Use the Pawborough app to list (and read) key details—like triggers, allergies, or if Max goes full gremlin around squirrels. Knowledge prevents chaos.
🐶 4. Stay in the Safe Zone
Stick to pre-approved walking areas and avoid off-leash zones unless noted otherwise. Safety > scenic detours. And yes, this includes skipping that tempting shortcut through the dog park if it’s not part of the plan.
📱 5. Keep Connected
Emergencies are rare—but always be ready. Keep your phone charged, location sharing on, and check in through the app when you arrive, start, and finish. Peace of mind is a few taps away.
